We know dogs are part of the family so well behaved dogs are welcome to the cottage by prior arrangement.
We do not charge for dogs but we do ask for a donation of £10 per week to the SSPCA (Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) for each dog you bring. We will leave a Gift Aid card and SAE for your cheque. Please leave this with the electric money when you leave.
We provide for your dogs:
- A totally enclosed garden
- 2 large plastic dog beds (you will need your own covers)
- Dog bowls
- Dog towels
- Leads
- Clean up bags
Trips where the dog can come too.
The surroundings in Mull are perfect for including your dog on trips to many of your destinations.
- A great variety of walks of all distances /ability levels are available. (See walk details under our local attractions and in the range of books in the cottage library section).
- Turus Mara boat trips will allow dogs on board by prior arrangement (see local attractions/ amenities).
- The local Bellachroy Hotel allows well behaved dogs to sit in the public bar or at the outside tables.
- If you wish to have you dog cared for while you make a day trip short term boarding, overnight if required, is available from Mr & Mrs MacDougall situated about 15 mins drive from the cottage on the outskirts of Tobermory. Tel: 0754 915 8999 for further details or to book ahead.
- Many other attractions will allow dogs by prior arrangement so it is always worth asking.
We do ask that your dog is kept out of the bedrooms, off the furniture and not left alone in the house. Please keep dogs on a lead and away from livestock especially during lambing season.
