Isle of Mull Self Catering Cottage

Situated less than a quarter of a mile from Dervaig with superb views over the river and mountains beyond stands Glen Cottage, Loch-na-Cuilce. The house is fully equipped for six people, insulated  and double glazed and is designed to offer you all the modern comforts of home as well as a peaceful base whilst you explore the beauty and wonders of Mull.  This is a non-smoking property.

The large and beautiful lounge comprises a three seater bed settee, a two seater settee and there is an extendable dining table with six chairs.  The front window has a magnificent view overlooking Glen Bellart making it ideal for bird watching and there are two sets of binoculars provided for your stay.  There is a TV/Video combi and an excellent selection of videos for those wet weather days, also a CD player and a selection of books and maps about Mull and Iona depicting the history and various walks and we have tried to provide a good selection of games for the children.

The spacious kitchen is very well appointed, fully equipped and is well stocked with beautiful crockery, stainless steel pans, microwave, breadmaker, juicer etc. To the side of the kitchen is a utility room with rear access door – this room comes in very handy for muddy children and dogs. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, picnic hamper, children’s fishing nets, buckets and spades etc. Additional towels are left here for your use outside the house or for muddy dogs. Outside there is ample clothes drying and a picnic table with parasol for those sunny days !

The property has two bedrooms – to the front of the house is a bedroom with three single beds, full height sliding mirrored wardrobes with additional drawer space.  The master bedroom is to the rear of the house and has a TV and Video, full height sliding mirrored wardrobes, a chest of drawers, hair dryer, hair tongs etc., everything you would need for a relaxing stay.

The bathroom has the benefit of an electric shower, bath and a cosy apricot suite
